I laugh out loud as I saw how ridiculous self-defeat thoughts are. I have read self-help books for over 20 years; the Intimate Connection is the only book that as shown my how to truly help myself. After reading and applying the first 5 chapters, I now can stamp out any negative thoughts that automatically pop into my mind. After applying Dr. Burns's techniques, I had the best weekend of my live ever, and on Monday morning I got a called for an ex-boyfriend who begged to see me again. Dr. Burns said this would happen! My life keeps on getting better and better everyday.
