For 'Novo Avenida Brasil' the well-known and proven course 'Avenida Brasil' has been completely revised and restructured. The resulting new 3-volume course 'Novo Avenida Brasil' is oriented towards the learning objectives of the Common European Framework and puts the main emphasis on life skills. The clear unit structure of 'Avenida Brasil' has been maintained in the revised edition, the introductory pages of the units, introducing the prevailing subject, give a good overview of the learning objectives. The text- and workbooks have 6 units each and one repetition unit. Naturally, 'Novo Avenida Brasil' is in accordance with the new spelling regulations (according to the Agreement about the standardisation of spelling in the Portuguese speaking countries from 2008).
