I passed both test this morning with scores of 983/1000 and 1000/1000. I can confirm that ALL the questions were on these P4S tests. The wording was exactly the same. You don't need anything except these two tests.

I also passed both exams today using these as study guides. 800/1000 and 953/1000 respectively.

Version 2.15 - Exam 70-272 Verified on 16th May 2008

I passed today 1000/1000 - 40 questions, and all from 2.15



How often do these go out of date?

I don't think they have any specific timing or period as to when the Exams/questions run out...but if they do you'll sure know. Sadikhovers will be first to know. As long as you are in touch with this forum, you'll pretty much be in the know as to when an exam questions or versions have changed.

I was wondering: should I do the MCDST or the MCITP Enterprise Support Technician????, anyone can give me an advice. thanks


The mcdst will provide you the knowledge of supporting Xp whereas the MCITP would be based on Vista. Personally I took the MCITP however my boss requested doing the MCDST because of the company's interest in supporting XP.


Because my company still uses XP, I went with MCDST and then upgrade to MCITP. If you take 70-271, 70-272, and 70-621 you get FOUR certs in three tests. You'll have MCP, MCDST, MCTS: Vista, and MCITP: Enterprise Support. This is the most efficient path if you want to be certified on both XP and Vista. Plus, 70-621 gives you full credit for 60-620 if you want to go for MCITP: Enterprise Admin later on you'll only need four more tests.

I've also noticed whilst doing these, there aren't any explanations in the P4S dumps? Also, when there is a diagram to be viewed in a question and it says "(Show Exhibit)", there is no button there called that therefore I can't see any diagram.

Am i missing something totally obvious?

Also, anybody know the answer to question 10 in the P4S dump of 70-271?


There aren't any explanations for the answers in p4s. You'll have to use a different tool for explanations. Some of the questions are missing the exhibits. You should be able to figure out the answers without them though.

If by "question 10" you mean the question about configuring the TCP/IP settings on Client1 to connect to Client1 by name, the answer is to check "Register this connection's addresses in DNS".

CBT's, books and a lab.
Dumps can come last and only to test your knowledge!



Yes, you're right Falc, you've hit one the best path option. Another option is if you're aiming for MCSA, this is the best way;

2x Exams (70-271 & 70-272) = MCDST: Windows XP
2x Exams (70-290 & 70-291) = Windows 2003 Server
1x Exam (70-621) = MCITP : Enterprise Support & MCTS : Vista

A total of 5x Exams only , you'll have the ff. certifications = MCP:MCDST:MCTS:MCITP:MCSA




Wow, I didn't realize I'm only two tests away from MCSA. I'm just starting to learn Server 2008, but I might change my course and go this route now.

2x Exams (70-271 & 70-272) = MCDST: Windows XP
1x Exam (70-621) = MCITP : Enterprise Support & MCTS : Vista
2x Exams (70-290 & 70-291) = Windows 2003 Server
2x Exams (70-648 & 70-646) = MCITP : Server 2008 Admin
2x Exams (70-643 & 70-647) = MCITP : Enterprise Admin

That would be quite a resume in five short leaps with a lot of major accomplishments at each stop.

June 9 varified that 70-271 P4S V 2.15 is still current. Took test today. Made 916/1000




Just coming from the examination centre today on 11th June 2008, with the score 70-271 966/1000 and 70-272 957/1000. All the question from pass4sure version 2.15 which is shared on this forum already. Next is 70-620 . Wish me luck. thanks to all sadikhovers.

Taking both tests on 28th of June- I know the questions get jumbled but was wondering: are the multiple choice answers in the P4S v2.15 in the same order as the DST exams?

Also, any verification that v2.15 are still valid would be great!

As far as I can remember the answers are in the same order. I don't really memorize the answer order. I just take P4S to know I can pass the test.
