Evolution is not a science, it is ONLY A THEORY. Any scientist when cornered will admit that Darwin's evolution remains a theory. There is no hard science here and no proof. Most of the books that treat evolution as hard proven science are written by liars (or idiots). Please check that for yourself. Evolution today remains only a theory.

But as far as most evidence shows, this is the best theory we have in order to explain most of the things we discover in the biological world. Every "theory" has a number of "proofs" but it is impossible to say that in the future we will not find another phenomena that invalidates it, so nobody can tell that it is an eternally proved truth (the same applies to every non pure science). It is the way science works, and (despite uninformed or misinformed opinions) has little in relation to immutable truths.

Please elaborate about "evolution is a scientific fact" (and thanks for pointing Ruse, I'll try to look for his materials.) Seems you're not referring to the whole darwinism, but to the empirical per-case observations.


With Evolution, we have a Theory (according to eQuus at least) that explains scientific facts. To push it away can only be done scientifically, not based on religious beliefs.
The one point that really needs to be considered is that "ÿou can only evolve if you exist." Thus evolution and creationism are not contradicting each other. They are rather complementing each other.
