Yes ,I'm also getting error messages when doing unrar.Error Msg:Unable to find the specified path.

I am happy you downloaded all and thats really good.

I have $0.2 suggestion, you should have removed the link till the directory ucm so that when people untar it it won't have prblem to untar it. Since windows can only support somewhat 100+ characters or 6/7 directory inside directory inside directory. I think that is the problem with people do extract it.

Thanks for sharing these. Have been trying to extract the Storage Foundation 5.x and VCS courseware but keep getting errors. Tried both Winrar and ALZIP...same errors. Any idea how I could extract these?



AlZip does not give any error message. It simply does not uncompress anything in my case.
Any other options???? I really need these !!!!

And the problem is the special characters used in the filenames etc. which is not allowed in windows. Also tried mounting the archive as a folder/drive..did not work...

ALZIP worked fine for me. I will upload on rapidshare today as a ZIP file. Thanks.

I suggest you visit h2tps://education.symantec.com/ucm/ and visit the links there and you find lots of CBTs. Just download wget and its totally free and download it. You don't have to request anybody for this particular tutorial.

Hi there,

I'm not sure of any process of downloading the above mentioned CBT's, But one way to get them is to Empty the "Temporary Internet Files" folder Using Delete Files and Delete Cookies button on the Internet options window of Internet Explorer and then visit the links mentioned above using IE and browse all the slides by clicking the Next slide button on the flash player integrated on to IE. Once done, click tools--->Internet options--->Settings (button)---> View Files (button). to open the 'Temporary internet files' folder you will find that the cbts related files (*.swf, *.mp3, index.htm ...etc )

you can copy the files to respective folders like ( 01, 02, 03 ....etc as per the lesson number indicated in the URL of the files.

If confused by my idea, feel free to comment the same !

Your idea and techniq seems great but the problem is when i try to copy any files from Temporary Internet Files, it adds [1] to all files which means I need to remove all [1] from the files to make it work.

Better use Camstudio v2.0 to record the course. Use v 2.0 as the latest version does not support recording sound from speakers.
