DjVu typically achieves compression ratios about 5 to 10 times better than existing methods such as JPEG and GIF for color documents, and 3 to 8 times than TIFF for black and white documents. Very easy to use, just install it then double click on the DjVu file which opens in the DjVu viewer, just like a pdf file in Acrobat.
