It validates your ability to Configure, verify and troubleshoot switches, Identify security threats to a network and to mitigate those threats and Implement, verify, and troubleshoot networks in a medium-size Enterprise branch office network. Passing this test will also help you in achieving the CCNP Certifications and CCIE Certifications.

You can also get the CCNA Certification through a two tests option. For this, you have to take tests 640-822 and 640-816.
